Rotary Club of Buckhead announces partnership with LifeLine Animal Project

The Rotary Club of Buckhead reported a new partnership with LifeLine Animal Project dubbed the Pawsitivity Partnership Through the initiative the Rotary Club will promotion the Georgia nonprofit s mission to end shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats throughout the state Founded in LifeLine Animal Project has grown into Georgia s largest animal welfare organization According to LifeLine founder and chief executive officer Rebecca Guinn the number of animals euthanized annually in metro Atlanta has plummeted from to about since the nonprofit was started The organization as of now cares for over animals including more than in shelters and just under in foster care Additionally LifeLine says that it spays and neuters over animals and performs more than vaccinations on a daily basis Georgia still has a pet overpopulation difficulty noted Guinn and we are happy to have the assistance of the Rotary Club of Buckhead in funding and in helpers as we work to vaccinate spay and neuter more animals and help them find homes Each year the Rotary Club of Buckhead starts a new three-year partnership with a nonprofit organization providing them with various promotion The Rotary Club of Buckhead is currently in its second year of partnership with Shepherd Center an Atlanta rehabilitation hospital and in its third and final year assisting The Boyce L Ansley School development institution that serves unhoused students Rotary International promotes programs that focus on family friends and the neighborhood at large disclosed Shelley Hammell president of the Buckhead Rotary Club Our three-year signature project embodies this spirit and will help us make an even greater impact in our locality through the feasible for increased volunteer participation The post Rotary Club of Buckhead announces partnership with LifeLine Animal Project appeared first on Rough Draft Atlanta
